Security is obviously very important when installing or maintaining a wireless mesh network. As your mesh network is available to your customers and guests without the need for any special configuration, there is no WPA or WEP encryption used. Network Gateways

In order for you to utilise the wifime service, you will need an ADSL or braodband internet connection. At least 1 or more of the nodes should be directly connected to your existing broadband router or modem. Any node that connects back to the router or modem directly via CAT5 cable, is known as a "Gateway Node". In essence the more gateways in your wifime network the better. This provides reliability and failover options in the event of a node failure.
